Industrial gases firms are upbeat about the next few years, with many predicting double-digit growth. A strong project workload worldwide and growth in global manufacturing are driving earnings increases, says Air Products. The company expects a 100 basis point margin improvement in fiscal 2008, and a 300 point increase over the next three years, says John E. McGlade, Air Products president and CEO.
