Industrial Gases Still Flying High

Strong energy and robust manufacturing growth as well as exposure to fast-growing markets in China and other developing countries has pushed industrial gases sales and earnings higher in recent years. Air Liquide, Air Products, and Praxair all reported double-digit gains in sales and earnings during 2006. Linde reports full-year results on March 12 and is expected to report similar gains.
