Finance: A Long, Slow Climb

While overall financial markets and M&A deal volume has recovered a bit from the bottom during the first half of 2009, the road to full recovery will be long, bankers say. There were a total of four chemical M&A deals worth more than $25 million during the first quarter of 2009, says Peter Young, president of Young & Partners (Y&P; New York).
