Fertilizers: Fertilizer Demand To Normalize

Fertilizer market conditions are expected to log steady improvements this year as attractive agricultural commodity prices encourage farmers to increase crop production, according to the International Fertilizer Industry Association (IFA; Paris). The IFA estimates that the economic crisis resulted in one to three years of lost growth in fertilizer demand, but predicts fertilizer demand will grow 3.6%/year in the 2009-2010 growing season.
