PotashCorp says its second-quarter net income soared 220%, to $905.1 million ($2.82/share), on “rising global fertilizer demand and the impact of significantly higher prices for potash, nitrogen, and phosphate products.” Mosaic reported net earnings of $862.5 million for its fiscal fourth quarter ended May 31, a more than four-fold increase over the same period last...
