The semiconductor industry has not yet been able to recover from last year’s sales tumble that brought electronic chemical manufacturers with it. Analysts do not expect a major recovery any time soon but forecast a gradual improvement quarter by quarter as fabs replenish inventories and seasonal consumer demand, especially for high-tech devices, help to reboot the system.
