Distributors Extend Advocacy Efforts

The National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD; Arlington, VA) says it is “cautiously optimistic” that the new makeup of Congress will be more attuned to the concerns of industry, particularly small businesses, and is stepping up its efforts to create “as big a tent as possible” for its lobbying efforts. Next month, NACD will sign an agreement with corresponding groups in Canada and Brazil that calls for a regular exchange of information about improvements to their respective Responsible Distribution initiatives.
