Chemical Week Magazine :: Cover Story Canada: Export Pressure to Continue7:50 AM MST | January 8, 2010 Canadian chemical producers expect sales values to post a modest increase of 2% in 2010, with overall sales volumes remaining unchanged from very low levels in 2009, according to results of a survey conducted by the Canadian Chemical Producers Association (CCPA; Ottawa). Sales to domestic customers are expected to increase by 2.2%, but are dependant on the “very tepid recovery holding and gathering steam.” Respondents predict exports sales will fall by 4%, to C$12.25 billion ($11.8 billion).
