Billion-Dollar Club: Smoother Sailing, But Caution Remains for Industry’s Top Companies

Chemical producer revenues and earnings climbed in 2010 on significantly improved global economic demand. BASF is pulling away from the rest of the pack, helped in part by acquisitions and the strong euro. BASF claimed the top spot for the fifth year in a row in CW's  Billion-Dollar Club, a ranking of companies by chemical revenues.
