Shell Pulls Back from Hydrogen Future

Shell’s CEO Jeroen van der Veer has disclosed that Shell plans to stop making major investments in hydrogen, solar and wind energy projects. Instead, the company’s renewable energy program will focus on Biofuels.   "We do not expect material amounts of investment in those areas going forward," Linda Cook, head of Shell’s gas and power business told journalists at a briefing yesterday.
