Chemical Week Magazine :: Companies Second Equity Firm Invests in AZ1:25 PM MDT | August 6, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Vestar Capital Partners (Paris), a private equity firm, says it plans to become a joint owner with The Carlyle Group (London) in AZ Electronic Materials (Luxembourg). Carlyle, also a private equity firm, purchased AZ from Clariant in 2004. AZ “will be jointly owned by Vestar and Carlyle as equal partners, alongside AZ’s management team,” the companies say.
