European Consortium Scraps Plans to Build Propylene Pipeline

A consortium of eight companies has abandoned plans to construct a propylene pipeline linking Rotterdam and Antwerp with the Ruhr region of Germany (CW, Nov. 30/Dec. 7, 2005, p. 21). “Rising project investment costs have made the proposition uneconomical,” says the consortium, European Pipeline Development Co.
