Actavis Acquires Plant

Actavis Group (Reykjavík) says it has acquired a manufacturing plant at Alathur southern India from Grandix Pharmaceuticals (Chennai, India), a manufacturing and marketing company, for an undisclosed amount. Actavis says the deal will provide it with low-cost manufacturing and a facility from which it can manufacture products for the U.S. and European markets.
