Ampac Fine Chemicals (AFC; Rancho Cordova, CA), the wholly owned pharmaceutical fine chemicals subsidiary of American Pacific Corp. (AMPAC; Las Vegas) reported a loss for the first nine months of 2011. But the company is turning things around. It has a burgeoning project pipeline and is poised to make a net profit, AFC president Aslam Malik tells CW. AFC reported a loss of $1.2 million and sales of $21.5 million for its fiscal first quarter ended December 31, 2011. That compares with a loss of $3.6 million and sales...
