Westlake to increase ethylene, PVC capacity

Chao: Ethylene, chlorine expansions boost integration. Westlake Chemical says it will convert its Calvert City, KY ethylene plant from propane to ethane feedstock as it seeks to take advantage of improved economics for lighter feedstocks as ethane extraction capacity expands significantly in the US.
