US Water Services acquires Texas water treatment firm ChemCal

US Water Services (St. Michael, MN) has acquired ChemCal (Grapevine, TX), an industrial water treatment firm, for an undisclosed amount, the company says. ChemCal focuses in the oilfield and manufacturing sectors and has $25 million/year in revenues. The deal is US Water’s largest acquisition to date and brings the company’s revenues up to $125 million/year, says Paul Turgeon, partner with Excellere Partners (Denver), a private equity firm with a large stake in US Water.
