UN-ICCA Partnership Targets Safer Distribution in Africa

Executives attending the Third International Conference on Chemicals Management (ICCM3) held last week in Nairobi have detailed proposals for a public-private partnership focused on safer transport and warehousing of chemicals in Africa. The partnership is between the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) and the United Nations’ Environment Programme (UNEP) and “will build on the technical capacity of national and local authorities, and private companies in Africa, to improve warehousing and transportation of hazardous materials,” ICCA says...
