Solazyme signs supply deals with Unilever and Goulston

Algal oils producer Solazyme (South San Francisco) has signed commercial supply agreements with Unilever and Goulston Technologies (Monroe, NC), a leading producer of high-performance fiber lubricants. The agreement with Unilever covers the first of the tailored oils, with an initial supply of about 10,000 m.t., that Solazyme and Unilever have codeveloped during their five-year collaboration.
