SI Group Files Tackifying Resin Trade Complaint

SI Group (Schenectady, NY) has filed a complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC; Washington) regarding improper use of rubber tackifying resin, or tackifier, trade secrets by two firms. The company is asking ITC to ban tackifiers produced and marketed by Sino Legend Chemical (Zhangjiagang, China), Red Avenue Chemical (Rochester, NY) and affiliates from being imported into the United States.
