Roundtable Calls for Worldwide Action on Climate Change

BASF, Bayer, DuPont, and some other members of the Global Roundtable on Climate Change (GROCC; New York) have issued a “call for action” asking the world’s governments to agree to take immediate, ambitious steps to curb global warming. The global goal should be “scientifically informed” targets, including an “ambitious but achievable interim mid-century target for global carbon dioxide concentrations at a level that would prevent dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system,” GROCC says.
