Report: McCarthy tops list to replace EPA’s Jackson

Gina McCarthy, US EPA’s assistant administrator for the Office of Air and Radiation, is a leading candidate to take EPA administrator Lisa Jackson’s place as EPA chief, Reuters reports. Jackson announced in late December that she would not serve for President Obama’s second term.
