Chemical Week Magazine :: Business & Finance :: United States/Americas Reichhold to shut NJ facility due to Sandy damage5:41 AM MST | January 25, 2013 | —Lindsay Frost Reichhold (Research Triangle Park, NC) says it is closing its Newark, NJ manufacturing facility due to the damage caused by Hurricane Sandy in October 2012. The facility produced alkyd resins and had capacity of 60 million lbs/year, according to a Reichhold spokesperson. The facility’s 27 personnel will mostly be moved to other sites, while some will be laid off. The site will be completely closed within four months, the spokesperson said.
