Pennsylvania Considers Tax Incentives for Shell Cracker

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett (R.) is pushing for tax incentives worth up to $66 million/year related to Shell Chemical’s potential steam cracker at Monaca, PA. The incentives—which have not been proposed but are expected shortly—would have to be approved by Pennsylvania’s legislature.
