Pemex Files New Suit In NGL Smuggling Case

Pemex, Mexico’s state-run oil company, has filed a new lawsuit against a dozen oil companies—including units of Royal Dutch Shell and ConocoPhillips—alleging they sold natural gas liquid condensate stolen by drug gangs. Pemex filed a nearly identical lawsuit against BASF in 2010, claiming that company purchased stolen natural gas liquids (NGL) and condensate from Mexican thieves.
