Olin to End Use of Mercury Cell Technology, Close Georgia Plant

Olin says it will end chlor-alkali production at its Augusta, GA mercury cell plant and invest $160 million to convert its Charleston, TN chlor-alkali facility from mercury cell to membrane cell technology, ending its use of mercury cell technology by the end of 2012.
