Nufarm Acquires Two Crop Protection Chemical Producers

Agchem company Nufarm (Melbourne) says it has acquired AH Marks Holdings (Wyke, U.K.) and has signed an agreement to acquire Etigra (Cary, NC), for a combined total of $236 million. Nufarm says the acquisition of the combined crop protection chemical firms will contribute a total of about $5 million to its net profits this year, and about $24.7 million in 2009.
