Michael, J. Prather, professor of the Earth System Science Department at the University of California (Irvine, CA) and Juno Hsu, a research colleague from the same university department, have published a report highlighting how nitrogen trifluoride (NF3), a chemical increasingly used in the manufacture of electronic products including flat screen TVs, must be controlled because it is a highly potent greenhouse gas.
