Soy struggles: Monsanto wins round in patent-term dispute. The Court of Justice of the State of Mato Grosso, in Brazil’s largest soybean-growing state, has ruled that Monsanto can resume royalty collections for its Roundup Ready (RR) soybeans until a legal dispute over the seed’s patent term is settled.
