Monsanto Raises Full-Year Earnings Outlook

Monsanto has raised its full-year earnings estimates for the fiscal-year ended September 30, citing higher-than-expected sales and gross profit in its seeds and traits business. The company expects ongoing earnings of $3.58/share-$3.60/share, up from previous guidance of $3.37/share and from analysts’ consensus estimates of $3.45/share, as reported by First Call (Boston).
