Mexichem reports higher earnings, sales

Mexichem’s (Mexico City) fourth-quarter preliminary sales figure was 14.42 billion Mexican pesos ($1.14 billion), 38% higher than in the same period the year before, the company says. Estimated Ebitda for the quarter was reported at peso2.34 billion, 8% higher than in the fourth quarter of 2011. The company closed 2012 with peso63.4 billion in full-year sales, up 34% on the previous year, and the estimated Ebitda for the whole year is peso13.27 billion, 29% above the 2011 figure.
