Matheson acquires dry ice maker Continental Carbonic

Matheson Tri-Gas (Basking Ridge, NJ), a a subsidiary of Taiyo Nippon Sanso (Shinagawa, Japan), has completed the acquisition of Continental Carbonic Products (Decatur, IL), a manufacturer and supplier of dry ice and liquid carbon dioxide. Continental Carbonic operates 31 branches and eight production facilities throughout the Midwest and eastern and southern United States, the company says.
