Lubrizol to expand chlorinated PVC at Louisville, KY, site

Lubrizol will build a chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) resin and compounding facility at its Louisville, KY, site. The total investment will be $108 million, according to a statement from the office of Kentucky governor Steve Beshear. Lubrizol, owned by Berkshire Hathaway, announced plans earlier this year to spend more than $400 million over the next four years to expand CPVC resin and compounding manufacturing capacities globally.
