Laticrete to buy DuPont’s surface-care business

Laticrete (Bethany, CT) has agreed to buy DuPont’s surface-care business, a maker of protective coatings and surface treatments for the stone and tile market, the companies say. The deal is expected to close later in June. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed. Laticrete will merge DuPont’s surface-care products with its own product lines in that market, the company says. “Laticrete knows the stone and tile market well and sells complementary products, and we believe the DuPont surface-care business can best pursue its potential...
