KMG to acquire OM Group’s high-purity chemicals business

KMG Chemicals has agreed to acquire OM Group’s high-purity electronic chemicals business in a $60-million deal, the company says. The ultrapure chemicals (UPC) business supplies the semiconductor and microelectronics sectors.
