John Deere inks ag data deals with Dow and BASF

John Deere (Moline, IL), a leading producer of agricultural equipment, has entered into separate farm data management solutions partnerships with Dow Chemical and BASF. BASF and John Deere plan to jointly develop a suite of integrated precision farming and farm management solutions, BASF says. These tools, developed with growers, will provide enhanced field-scouting services and tailored agronomic advice. BASF will offer a new service for field scouting and agronomic decision support.
