Invista and Solvay settle ADN joint venture dispute

Invista and Solvay announced late in April that they have signed a settlement resolving disputes related to adiponitrile (ADN) intellectual property and technology used in Butachimie, their nylon-6,6 intermediates joint venture at Chalampé, France. The agreement confirms Invista’s exclusive ownership of the ADN technology and paves the way for a technology upgrade at Butachimie that would be one of several components in a new jv relationship between the two companies, Invista says.
