ICP Potash awards contract for feasibility study

IC Potash Corp. (ICP; Toronto) has awarded SNC-Lavalin (Montreal) a contract to develop sections of the feasibility study of ICP’s Ochoa sulphate of potash (SOP) project at Lea County, NM. Work is underway and is expected to be completed August 2013. The technical part of the study includes the recovery methods, project infrastructure, processing facility, loadout, and ancillary services to produce SOP and sulphate of potash magnesia (SOPM) from ICP’s polyhalite deposit in southeastern New Mexico.
