Huntsman Suiting Up for Trials; Forms Litigation Committee

Huntsman says its board of directors has expanded three of its members’ duties and formed a litigation committee in preparation for its upcoming trials related to Hexion Specialty Chemical’s proposed $10.6-billion acquisition of Huntsman. The trial date for Huntsman’s multibillion-dollar lawsuit against Hexion lenders Deutsche Bank (New York) and Credit Suisse (Zurich), which have refused to fund the merger, has been set for May 11, 2009.
