Honeywell plans $300-million HFO-1234yf investment

Honeywell says it will invest $300 million to build a plant for hydrofluoroolefin (HFO)-1234yf, a car air-conditioning refrigerant, at the company’s Geismar, LA, site. The plant is expected to be operational in 2016, Honeywell says....
