Gevo resumes isobutanol production at Luverne

Gevo (Englewood, CO) announced on 18 June that it has resumed commercial production of isobutanol at its Luverne, MN, site after isolating and removing contamination streams that forced it stop operations in October 2012. The former ethanol plant is the first to use Gevo’s retrofit technology.
