Fuller Divests Central American Paints Business

H.B. Fuller says it will sell its Central American paints business to Grupo Mindial (Panama City, Panama) subsidiary Companía Global de Pinturas (Pinturas; Medellín, Colombia) for $120 million. Fuller says the business is no longer core to its strategic objective of becoming the “best adhesives company in the world.” The business posted revenue of $113.5 million and Ebitda of $13.3 million in fiscal year 2011.
