Extended antitrust review delays Ecolab, Champion deal

BAKER: An agreement with justice officials is expected this year. Ecolab’s $2.2-billion acquisition of oil-field services firm Champion Technologies is now expected to close by 28 February 2013, as the company remains in extended discussions with the US Department of Justice (DOJ; Washington) regarding antitrust review, Ecolab says.
