Eastman, Westlake fight over Longview ethylene pipeline

In a complaint filed with the Texas Railroad Commission (TRRC) on 29 July, Eastman Chemical accuses Westlake of making a “discriminatory, unlawful, unreasonable, and unjustified” change to a pipeline tariff that harms the operation of Eastman’s four Longview, TX, crackers. “Eastman believes the changes were made to gain a business advantage or were made in retaliation for the position Eastman has taken in its ongoing business dispute with Westlake affiliates,” says the complaint.
