Chemical Week Magazine :: Business & Finance :: United States/Americas EPA Details Plans for Peer Reviews Under TSCA5:34 AM MDT | August 31, 2012 | —Kara Sissell EPA has issued work plans for conducting peer reviews of certain chemicals as part of the agency’s agenda for strengthening its chemicals management program, using its existing authority under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). EPA’s peer review for medium- and long-chain chlorinated paraffins is slated to begin by July 2013 and should be completed by February 2014. The reviews for antimony and related compounds, HHCB, methylene chloride, n-methylpyrrolidone, and trichloroethylene are scheduled to begin by April 2013 and should be competed by October...
