DuPont expands R&D center in China

DuPont says it has opened the second phase of its China R&D center at the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, at Shanghai. The center will house an additional 150 researchers, and the floor area has been expanded by 17,000 sq meters. The R&D center will focus on the applications of new materials in solar energy, biobased materials, and automotive materials and testing capabilities, the company says.
