DuPont Opens $40-Million Seeds Lab in Iowa

DuPont says it has opened its Beaver Creek plant genetics facility at Johnson, IA to support the company’s Pioneer Hi-Bred seeds business. Experts in plant physiology, molecular biology, and bioinformatics at the $40-million research facility will focus on plant breeding and the development of new transgenic products, DuPont says.
