DuPont May Sell Films JV and Powder Coatings, Report Says

Kullman: Toward higher growth markets. DuPont has put DuPont Teijin Films, its polyester-films joint venture with Teijin, and its powder-based coatings unit, up for sale, according to a Bloomberg report. The businesses will likely be sold for less than $1 billion each, the report says. DuPont declined to comment on the reports. Teijin could not immediately be reached for comment.
