Dow selects sites for Gulf Coast polymer units

Dow Chemical has selected sites on the US Gulf Coast for four previously announced polymer production units, the company said on 27 August. Dow says it will install units for the production of Affinity brand of polyolefin elastomers and Elite enhanced polyethylene resins at Freeport, TX, and units for Nordel metallocene ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) and advanced low-density polyethylene (LDPE) at Plaquemine, LA.
