Dow delays launching herbicide-tolerant corn to 2014

Corn Controversy: Dow expects a 'robust ramp-up' of its genetically engineered Enlist corn in 2014. Dow Chemical says the US launch of its Enlist corn variety—the first seed genetically modified to be tolerant of the herbicide 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D)—will be delayed because the company is still waiting for regulatory approval.
