Dow boosts forages presence with purchase of Cal/West Seeds

Dow Chemical’s AgroSciences unit has acquired the assets of Cal/West Seeds (Woodland, CA), a leading supplier of alfalfa, clover, and other crops to seed companies and growers in US, Canada, and 25 other countries. Financial terms were not disclosed. The addition of Cal/West Seeds expands Dow AgroSciences’ alfalfa business and strengthens its global forages operations, Dow says.
